Theater

The Theatre Department at New Tech is welcome to all students! Whether you're a seasoned actor or just starting out, our comprehensive program covers the fundamentals of stagecraft, character development, production, and more. 

Classes include:

Acting: Perfect for students eager to build confidence and develop stage presence.

Tech: Students will explore scenic, costume, and lighting design.  Students are now able to use hands-on materials including power tools and sewing machines with materials provided by grants from the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation.

Production: Be a part of New Tech's theater on stage!  The production class participates in one production in the Fall - a staged reading, and one in the Spring - UIL's One Act Play.

All students, regardless of enrollment, are also welcome to audition for the annual musical, a collaboration with New Tech Middle.
