FIRST Robotics

TEXPLOSION 2789- FIRST Robotics team is a competitive club that is avaible for all grade levels inside Manor New Tech High School. This club is only available to scholars who are taking or have taken their STEM required engineering course. In this club students work as a team to build, design, and program a robot for the First Robotics Competition. Every year the game changes and we work hard for 6 weeks from January - Febuary to get ready for competitions in March. Students in the team will also be able to work with industry mentors as the robot is being built.

 

Preferred knowledge and skills - Programming (preferred but not required), Electrical, Business Management, Mechanical, CAD.

We are here to train all team members in all areas (no experience required to join).
